Why the Brighter Futures Program?

Often times, children raised in homes without a father or male role-model, grow up feeling different or ‘missing-out’. This can lead to resentment towards the family and the Muslim community for simply not being able to grow up like a ‘normal’ child and constantly having to compromise on their wants and needs. Often, a contributing factor here is inadequate income, lack of finances and support from their mothers who can barely support themselves, thus causing an abandoned feeling among these children.

With the right support, we believe this will empower the Yateem children to feel more included in our community and seen by the people around them as normal children. This will help minimise the effects of not having a father-figure present in their lives to a certain extent. Furthermore, the support will allow them to reach their potential which otherwise would always remain painful regrettable excuses in the long term.

Who is this program for?

The Brighter Futures Program is to assist widows with any additional needs for the children under their care, that they simply do not have the means to meet. This is not limited to financial means but can also be with regards to assistance with other activities such as Quran classes, sports, extracurricular classes, mentoring and more.

If you are a widow or someone who is caring for an orphan child, please submit your application, find out how we can assist you.

$300 equips a child with one month of Qur’an learning, education, and physical activities.

$900 provides three months of holistic learning, including Qur’an, academics, and extracurricular activities.

$1,800 empowers a child with six months of quality education, personal growth, and physical well-being.

The application and validation process is done by the NZF Team with confidentiality. Any information given will only be used to determine the best way we can help you.

If you are an individual, company, business, service or organisation, you can become a Program Partner by financially supporting and funding our programs, either through the means of Zakat or Sadaqah.

You can also become a Service Partner by providing essential services such as Quran classes, counselling, mentoring, tutoring etc. for our programs.
