A Zakat Masterclass is a free, expert-led workshop designed to help our community deepen their understanding of this essential Pillar of Islam. These sessions provide a thorough explanation of Zakat obligations, how to calculate your Zakat in the Australian context based on the Qur'an and Sunnah. Sessions are interactive, generally in small groups - allowing for plenty of Q&A.

Anyone can request NZF to come to you for a Zakat Masterclass, whether you're a Masjid, Community Group or even just your family gathering! This is a great opportunity for you to help your community increase in their knowledge of this important Pillar of Islam.

All you need to do is book the venue and invite people to attend. There's no charge from our end; it's completely free!
Duration
A masterclass typically lasts for approximately 2 hours, but we can tailor it to your needs, making it shorter or longer. Just let us know if there are any specific areas you would like our team to tailor the session for.
Our Zakat Specialists
At NZF, we arrange for a Zakat specialist to attend and deliver the workshop. You will need to organise the venue and host the attendees. The specialist will require access to a TV screen or projector for the presentation slides.
