About Markaz Imam Ahmad

Markaz Imam Ahmad (MIA) is a body of dedicated teachers, staff members and Mashaayikh with one goal in common: to serve the Muslim community. They established MIA to be a centre for seeking knowledge, for worship, and for bringing members of our community together and strengthening the bonds of brotherhood and sisterhood.

MIA is committed to guiding and mentoring the Muslim youth, fostering within them a strong sense of Islamic identity and paving the way for a brighter future for our Ummah.

NZF’s vision is for Islam to flourish in society as a source of prosperity and harmony for all. To be able to achieve this, we need our community to be one that is confident, self-sustainable and pious.

MIA will assist NZF with providing classes in their Quran school, their mentoring program as well as the holiday programs for the Brighter Futures (Orphans), Rising Stars (Youth) and Silver Lining (Single Parents).

In addition, MIA has committed to participate in the Breaking Barriers mosque certification process, in order to improve the services and facilities for Muslims with special needs.
