Why the Recite to Rise program?

Access to Quranic education is essential for a child's spiritual and personal growth, but financial challenges often make it difficult for some families. Tuition fees can be a major barrier, preventing children from connecting with the Quran.

Through the Recite to Rise program, we hope to revive the love of the Quran in the hearts of the Australian Muslim community. We aim to achieve this by providing direct support to families, ensuring that children have access to Quran education even when their families cannot afford the school fees.

$250 sponsors a child’s Qur’an learning for one term, nurturing their connection to the Holy Book.

$500 provides six months of dedicated Qur’an learning, supporting recitation and memorisation.

$1,000 supports a child’s full year of Qur’an learning, ensuring consistency and growth in their studies.

Who is this program for?

The Recite to Rise program aims to remove financial barriers by providing assistance, ensuring that children can access Quranic education without adding strain on their families.

We hope this initiative encourages Australian Muslim families and their children to pursue or continue their Quranic learning, regardless of financial hardship. This is especially vital for children of asylum seekers/refugees, single parents, families affected by domestic violence, and those recommended by schools after assessment.

Support provided through this program includes, but is not limited to, financial aid for learning opportunities, Quran classes, community activities to strengthen their connection with the Quran, and more.
