Barely Breathing: Challenges when the unexpected occurs

Haytham had arrived in Australia with a heart full of hope, eager to start a new life and chase his dreams. He worked hard and was determined to achieve his goals, but life had other plans.

After months of going in and out of the hospital, Haytham's health had taken a turn for the worse. He was diagnosed with tuberculosis that left him struggling to breathe and unable to work.

Haytham didn't qualify for government support payments and reached out to NZF for help. We provided Haytham with the financial support he needed to get through this difficult time in his life. The assistance allowed him to focus on his health and gave him hope for a brighter future. Haytham was grateful for the support he received, and he knew that he was not alone in his struggles.

Thanks to local Zakat, Haytham was able to recover from his illness and regain his strength. Although he was no longer able to work due to his health, he was able to return to his home country with the peace of mind that his bills were paid, and he had the support he needed during his time of need.
