When you donate your Sadaqah or Zakat towards the Friday Giving program of NZF, you are not only helping the local needy, but you are also supporting the broader mission of establishing the pillar of Zakat in Australia.

FAQs
Friday holds a distinguished place in Islam as the chosen day of worship for the Muslim Ummah. It is the day Adam (peace be upon him) was created, entered and expelled from Paradise, and on which the Resurrection will occur. It includes a blessed hour when du‘a is accepted, and attending Jumu’ah prayer expiates minor sins between two Fridays.
While there is no specific du‘a prescribed for Friday, it is authentically reported that there is a blessed hour on this day during which any Muslim who asks Allah while praying will have their du‘a accepted. The Prophet ﷺ indicated this hour is brief (Bukhari 935; Muslim 852).
Friday Giving (also known as Jumu'ah Giving or Jummah Giving) by NZF Australia is a campaign for donating on Fridays the day of the Islamic week dedicated to prayer and reflection. Whether it is Sadaqah or your Zakat (on a weekly payment plan before your due date), it's seen as a particularly rewarding time for charitable acts.
Your donations will automatically be processed every Friday. If you sign up on any other day, your donations will commence the next Friday.
E.g. If you donate on Sat 8th Nov, your Friday giving will begin from Fri 14th Nov.
